All of Us Strangers

Friday 23 February - Thursday 04 April 2024

Paul Mescal and Andrew Scott are neighbours falling in love despite the presence of their pasts, in this intertwined fantasy romance All of Us Strangers by Andrew Haigh.

Orphaned playwright Adam (Andrew Scott) is drawn back to his parents’ house, looking for answers to the questions he’s had though out his life.

At the same time, he starts dating his neighbour (Paul Mescal). When our pasts are so here with us, how can we be present?

Andrew Haigh’s second feature is an obliterating romance, played by two of the best contemporary performers today, with a sublime chemistry between the pair.

The story is inspired by the novel Strangers by Japanese author Taichi Yamada, written in1987 and translated into English in 2003.
