As part of our exhibition ‘Art for Life‘, we are running a series of creative art workshops, facilitated by Art Psychotherapist, Helena Gardner (HCPC registered).

This is an exciting opportunity to take part in an expressive and collaborative experience, reflecting on the COVID pandemic and our experience as we begin to emerge back in to the world.

Explore themes around uncertainty, isolation, connection, illness and most importantly, hope. The sessions aim to bring together thoughts, ideas, creativity about our shared experiences and reconnect and heal through making art.

There is the option to exhibit your artwork as part of the ongoing exhibition at Firstsite.

This is a bookable workshop which will take place in our Studio space, giving you the opportunity to explore ideas and experiences in more depth with support from Helena.

Drop in sessions are also available, which take place in the exhibition itself. Find out more

‘Art for Life: An exhibition made with key workers’ is an Arts Council Collection National Partners Programme exhibition, kindly supported by the North East Essex Clinical Commissioning Group.
