Join the S&B ladies for a fun and relaxed Sunday as we worship at the altar of craft and host 2 different seasonal themed creative sessions for people aged 14+ of all abilities.

July sessions – ‘Summer Lovin’

AM session: Strawberry Beret

In this session you will decorate a wool beret to make you look as soft and sweet as a strawberry (or other piece of fruit) we will explore the techniques of appliqué, embroidery and needle felting to give our berets personality.

PM session: Macrame Plant Pot Hanger

In this session you will learn the knots necessary to make a decorative plant pot hanger of your very own from yarn and beads. At the end of the day, you will have a functioning hanger to take home and pop one of your plant babies in.

All materials will be supplied. Each session is ticketed separately.

What is S&B Colchester?

We’re an informal crafty club that meets once a month. The group was established in 2011 as an excuse to get our stitch on with local like-minded people.

The leaders of S&B Colchester are Amy & Meg, who have nearly 10 years’ experience in delivering fun, creative workshops for people of all abilities.

S&B is for everyone who wants to learn, improve or show off their textile crafting skills. We are passionate about learning new crafts, making fun stuff and sharing it with each other & the world!
