Marketing Coordinator

Colchester, Essex

£24,500 gross per annum

FULL TIME, 37.5 HOURS PER WEEK

We are looking to appoint a Marketing Coordinator.

Working with Firstsite’s Head of Audience and Communications and Marketing Assistant – as well as across all areas of the Programme and Operations – the Marketing Coordinator will help ensure that marketing and communications for all activities at Firstsite are effective and engaging in order to attract and retain a diverse audience, increase brand awareness, build footfall and meet income targets.

You’ll be responsible for developing innovative and creative marketing activities to promote Firstsite’s programme including, but not limited to, exhibitions, events, cinema, workshops and classes, learning activities and café, shop and venue hire.

You will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a marketing/communications or similar role and be able to multitask across a range of responsibilities including coordinating marketing activity and materials against deadlines, updating and maintaining the website, the coordination of social media, creation of newsletters and artwork including print advertising and flyers, creating and managing paid social media advertising, and any other marketing activity as required.

The Marketing Coordinator will report to the Head of Audience and Communications and liaise closely with all relevant Firstsite staff members as required.

Flexible working patterns, including some remote working, will be considered. Hours to include evenings, weekends and some bank holidays.
