Colchester Pride is back with a fabulous bang this summer at Firstsite!

A family friendly day for everyone in the LGBTQ+ community (and allies). Pride is a celebration of inclusion and diversity and a fantastic opportunity to make new friends, find support and most importantly have fun!

The Colchester Pride team are thrilled to return on 16 Aug 2025 with a jam packed day of entertainment, education and celebration.

The celebration is a day for all members of the LGBTQ+ family, their friends and allies. Come along and be a part of the fun!

Here’s what you can expect from Colchester Pride 2025:

• An outdoor stage line up of musicians, drag artists, dancers and community groups. Check out Colchester Pride’s social channels for full line up details.
• Spoken Word Stage – featuring Emotional Madness, a collection of local poets and spoken word artists.
• Family activities including arts and crafts and story times.
• A marketplace of local companies and organisations where you can enjoy some food, buy gifts, and connect with LGBTQ+ support networks and charities.
• Sensory space to relax in.
• And of course the day will start with another fabulous Pride march!

• Enjoy a free rainbow cake pop voucher – We’ve got 100 to give away! Redeem yours at the Berryfield or Foyer Café.
• Enter our cinema giveaway – Scan the QR code on our stall to complete a very short survey and join our mailing list for the chance to win 2 cinema tickets to the Firstsite Cinema!
• Make your own Pride badge – From 12pm to 3pm, create your own badge for free with the guidance of our YAK (Young Art Kommunity) members
