In Nightbitch, a woman pauses her career to be a stay-at-home mom, but soon her domesticity takes a surreal turn.
Moving from the city to the suburbs, a mother decides to give up her career as a well-known exhibiting artist to become a full-time mother and wife.
Despite her love for her son she soon starts to struggle in her life. She’s unable to fit in with the other mothers around her and deal with the thoughtless comments from her husband. She begins to feel like she is losing her sense of self.
The leads to an uncountable anger that turns her into something unmentionable.
