In Savages in Borneo, at the edge of the tropical forest, Kéria is given a baby orangutan.
With the forest under greater threat than ever, Kéria, Selaï and the little primate, Oshi, will have to face many obstacles.
The daughter of a late activist mother, Kéria has been raised in a modern western-centric village.
When her cousin Selaï who grew up in the forest amidst the native culture and way of life comes for a visit, Kéria is presented with the chance to reconnect with her identity.
The two venture into the depth of the forest exploring the past and present, bridging two worlds.
But after getting lost, Selaï teaches Kéria about Tepun a powerful shapeshifting entity.
