This Moment and The Next is an observational documentary made with and about people on the Greenstead estate, Colchester.

In the summer of 2023 the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, the war in Ukraine, and Brexit contributed to what was labelled a ‘Cost of Living Crisis’. At the same time, the country saw the coronation of a new King.

Filmed over this summer period, This Moment and The Next is a rich snapshot of the estate, weaving together over 80 people and animals into a mosaic of life in 21st century Britain. 

Produced by Nic Blower, the film is directed by Rosie Morris with Assistant Director and Cinematography Jack Bradley, edited by Vera Simmonds, researched by Ryan Bogle and stars our local community!
