What's on - In Conversation at Firstsite

We are delighted to be working in partnership with the legendary art writer, broadcaster and local Colchester girl, Louisa Buck, to host a series of talks featuring some of the biggest names in art & culture today.

Join Louisa as she chats to key figures in the art world and explores the life, works and artistic practice of a host of exciting artists. Louisa will be posing those burning questions we’ve all wanted to ask – from their biggest inspirations, role models and influences, to how they got to where they are today. In addition, Firstsite Director, Sally Shaw will host a selection of talks – exploring local art and creativity and the artists influenced by the East Anglia landscape, history and people.

All talks will be hosted at Firstsite, as well as online – with a chance for attendees to put their questions to the panel. Lively discussion is guaranteed!
