Café Supervisor

Colchester, Essex

£24,186.49 gross pa – £18,704.21 pro rata

PERMANENT – 29 HOURS PER WEEK

 

Week 1 (29hpw):

Tue/Wed: 9:00am – 5:30pm (8hrs + 30 min unpaid break) 

Thu: Extra shift if required by the business

Fri: 5:00pm – 10:30pm (5.5hrs with no break)

Sat: 9:30am – 5:30pm (7.5hrs + 30 min unpaid break)

Week 2 (29hpw):

Thu/Fri: 9:00am – 5:30pm (8hrs + 30 min unpaid break) 

Sat: 5:00pm – 10:30pm (5.5hrs with no break)

Sun: 9:30am – 5:30pm (7.5hrs + 30 min unpaid break)

 

Flexibility is required to cover events, absences, holidays

 

Firstsite is a contemporary visual arts organisation based in a stunning, award-winning gallery in Colchester, Essex. Since opening in 2011, Firstsite has welcomed over a million visitors.

Firstsite has established its reputation for being an art Gallery of regional and national importance especially through its work bringing internationally significant artworks to very diverse audiences. Firstsite have recently been awarded Art Fund’s Museum of the Year.


We are looking to appoint a Café Supervisor. You will be responsible for managing all daily aspects of the Café to ensure the smooth running of the café and events catering.


You will focus on delivering exceptional customer services to all customers, ensuring all can access this high level of service.
