Membership benefits

 

What do I get as a member?

As a Mosaic Member you can book one free ticket to each of our standard film screening for 12 months from when your membership starts.

You can also receive 20% off event cinema screenings (one ticket per event), and 20% off workshops and talks (one ticket per workshop/talk)

 

The Mosaic Member + Guest memberships entitles you to two free tickets to each of our standard film screening for 12 months from when your membership starts.

You can also receive 20% off event cinema screenings for yourself and a guest (two tickets per event), and 20% off workshops and talks for yourself and a guest (two ticket per workshop/talk).

 

Can I bring along a carer if I am registered disabled?

Yes of course, for all our membership options you are able to book a personal assistant ticket via our Front of House team please call 01206 713700 or email [email protected] to book a free personal assistant ticket for your event.

 

How much does it cost to join?

Our Mosaic Individual Membership costs £99 per year as a one-off payment.

Our Mosaic Member + Guest membership costs £155 as a one-off payment.

 

How many guests can I bring in with me?

Currently we are only offering a Individual membership which means all offers will apply to one ticket only. However, your 10% discount in the café and shop will be across all items you purchase (excluding alcohol or sale items)

If you have a Mosaic Member + Guest membership you can book up to two tickets on eligible events. However, your 10% discount in the café and shop will be across all items you purchase (excluding alcohol or sale items)

You can bring along anyone as your guest as long as this adheres to the event’s age requirement. This guest can vary per event, but only one guest will be admitted per event, and you must accompany them and present your card when presenting your tickets for entry.

 

Can I lend my membership to someone else?

No, Memberships can only be used by the named Member.

Guests attending with a member as part of a Mosaic Member + Guest, must be accompanied by the Mosaic Member in order to enjoy the benefits.

Members provide vital financial support to Firstsite, so we ask that you please don’t lend your card to non-Members

Or, if you know someone who would enjoy the benefits of membership, why not give a gift membership?

We reserve the right to request to see ID to confirm your membership.

 

How the membership works

 
Can I join online?

Yes, you can join online here

As soon as you join you can claim your free and discounted tickets – booking online or in person/on the phone.

You will also receive an e-membership card to download as a pass in your phone wallet (Apple or Google Android) allowing access to your café and shop membership benefits too. You should receive this within 24 hours of joining.

 

Can I join in person/on the phone?

Yes, contact us and our team will take you through the process.

How do I claim my membership benefits?

 
Booking online:
Free film, discounted event cinema and talks

Add your tickets to your basket as usual. Please ensure you book a standard ticket to be eligible for the 100% discount on films and 20% on event cinema and talks. 

For Mosaic Member + Guest members, add up to 2 standard tickets to your basket to be eligible for the 100% discount on films and 20% on event cinema and talks.

When you click to checkout you will be asked to log in. Once you have signed into your account you will see the discounts applied in the checkout page.

 

Workshops

Each of our workshops has a special membership ticket available to select when booking. Select this ticket for the workshop you wish to book.

You will need to show your ticket and your digital membership card when attending the workshop. If you are unable to show the card when attending you may be charged an additional cost to cover a standard ticket price.

Guests must accompany members at the point of entry to the workshop. A guest cannot purchase a ticket or attend an event without the member named on the membership account/card.

 

Booking tickets  in person/on the phone for all films, workshops, and talks:

Simply mention you are a member and give your name and email address and our team will apply your discount straight away.

 

Shop

You can claim 10% off your shop purchases (excluding sale items). Show your digital card at checkout to receive your discount.

Guests attending with a member as part of a Mosaic Member + Guest, must be accompanied by the Mosaic Member in order to enjoy the benefits.

 

Café

You can claim 10% off your cafe purchases (excluding alcohol). Show your digital card at checkout to receive your discount.

How do I access my digital membership card?

You will  receive your digital membership card to download as a pass in your phone wallet (Apple or Google Android) allowing access to your café and shop membership benefits too. You should receive this within 24 hours of joining.

If you have not received it within 24 hours, check your junk/spam folders in your email account. If it is not there, please contact [email protected]

Please note only one member card is issued with a Mosaic Member + Guest membership, this is generated for the member only, guests do not receive cards.

 

Can I use my membership before I receive my digital card?

You can use your membership straightaway to purchase discounted tickets for event cinema, talks and workshops and book free film tickets online.

You will also receive an e-membership card to download as a pass in your phone wallet (Apple or Google Android) allowing access to your café and shop membership benefits too. You should receive this within 5 days of joining. Whilst waiting for you card you can show your welcome email to receive your discounts in person.

 

How can I find out my membership expiry date?

You can view this in your online account. To do this click the Log in icon in our top menu.
If you cannot remember your password you can reset it here.

Your membership details are under the Membership blue button in your account information.

Your Firstsite Online Account

 

How do I sign into my online account?

You will be asked to sign into you online account during your checkout process.

If you wish to sign into your account at another time, you can click the Log in icon in our top menu.

Please note for Mosaic Member + Guest memberships, the membership is linked to one account only – this will be the member’s account, guests do not require an account.

 

How do I reset my password?

If you’ve forgotten your password, you can reset it here.



I do not have an online account password, how do I access my benefits?

If you do not have an online account, when you check out a link will be sent to your registered email instead – you can then use this to log in and complete your purchase and receive your membership.

 

 

Gift Membership

 

Can I buy a gift membership today, but have it start at a date in the future?

Yes, when purchasing a gift membership you can specify the date you would like it to be sent, within three months from the date of purchase. You can also choose if the membership voucher is sent to you, or to your recipient’s email address.

If you choose to have it sent to the recipient, do check it has been received, occasionally our gift membership email can go into a spam/junk folder by accident.

 

Where is gift membership sent?

You can choose to have the gift membership voucher sent to your email address, or to your recipient’s email address. Buy a gift membership online.

 

 

Renewing your membership

 
How do I renew my membership?

You can renew online via your online account by ticking the auto-renew option in your memberships section

Renew in the gallery at our front desk.

 

 How do I set my membership to auto renew?

You can view this in your online account. To do this click the Log in icon in our top menu.
If you cannot remember your password, you can reset it here.

Your membership details are under the Memberships option in your account information. If your membership is set to renew, the Auto-renew membership option will be ticked. If it not ticked and you wish to set up Auto-renew you can tick this box.

Please note this option will only be available if there is a credit card saved on your account. You can add this in the Payment Cards section of your account.

If you cannot set up auto-renew on online, simply contact us and we can set this up for you.

 

 

Cancelling your membership

 

How do I cancel my membership?

We are unable to refund or cancel a membership once it has been purchased.

Please ensure you check whether your membership is set to auto-renew – we are unable to refund a renewal after it has been processed.

 

How do cancel my auto-renewal?

You can view this in your online account. To do this click the Log in icon in our top menu.
If you cannot remember your password, you can reset it here.

Your membership details are under the Memberships option in your account information. If your membership is set to renew, the Auto-new membership option will be ticked. If you do not want to auto-renew just untick this box.

You can also contact our team in-person on the telephone to ask for your auto-renewal to be cancelled – find our contact details here

Please ensure you request for your auto-renewal to be cancelled more than 48 hours before it is due. After this time, we cannot guarantee a payment will not be taken. We are unable to refund an auto-renewal once it has been transacted.

How will you use the information I have given you?
