About the Author
Born in Burnley in 1989, Robert is the oldest son of 13 children. He joined the Royal Engineers in 2010 and now lives in Braintree, Essex with his wife and two children.
Robert describes himself as a soldier, cartographer, poet, artist and a elics. He holds a First-Class BSc in Computing but has no formal training in art or poetry.
Unfortunately, Robert was diagnosed with brain cancer in 2019. Initially he underwent surgery and radiotherapy – receiving numerous positive scan results. However, he suffered a recurrence in 2021 and it is now a terminal diagnosis.
Robert now keeps himself busy in Farleigh Hospice raising money for charity. Most of his popular work is produced under the influence of morphine.
