Description
Own a piece of contemporary art with this Limited Edition Poster of Magda Archer’s bold and witty artwork, “Stay Away From Toxic People.”
Set on a bright green background this piece will brighten up any room.
Bursting with colour and a love of typography, Archer’s artworks juxtapose retro and often optimistic imagery with popular words or phrases; mimicking online memes in their combination of words and pictures.
Archer’s kitsch artworks are both personal and socio-political, influenced by her own life, vintage advertising and British pop culture.
With tongue-in-cheek captions and visual humour, the artworks at first appear cheerful, but upon reflection suggest deeper meanings, hinting at themes of consumerism, social media and current politics.
