Whether you are coming to see our exhibitions, meeting with friends or looking for somewhere to work remotely, Firstsite is free to visit.
Festive Opening Hours:
We look forward to welcoming you over the coming weeks – however please be aware that we will be closing our building fully on selected days during December and January including Christmas Day. During these closures our phone lines will also be closed. Please see below for more details.

Monday: Closed
Tuesday: 10am – 5pm
Wednesday: 10am – 5pm
Thursday: 10am -10pm
Friday: 10am – 10pm
Saturday: 10am – 10pm
Sunday: 10am – 5pm

Collecting Tickets
We only issue print at home/e-tickets. If you are unable to access online facilities, please call us for alternative arrangements to be made.
Annual Closures
Firstsite is closed on 25 & 26 December and 1 & 2 January.
Exhibition changeovers
Firstsite offers a vibrant programme of changing exhibitions. This does mean that at times a gallery space may be closed as a new exhibition is in the process of being installed. However, the programme is planned to ensure closure of a space is kept to a minimum and that there is always an exhibition open to the public.
