Robert Eggers’ Nosferatu is a gothic tale of obsession between a haunted young woman and the terrifying vampire infatuated with her, causing untold horror in its wake.

In the early 1830s a young girl named Ellen pleads for a supernatural being to ease her loneliness. A mysterious creature arrives and makes her pledge herself to him eternally.

Years later, Ellen now married struggles with disturbing dreams which her husband, Thomas dismisses.

However, when her husband is asked to sell a home to the reclusive Count Orlok strange things begin to occur in town.

‘Robert Eggers’ “Nosferatu” is a cryptic, beautiful and unsettling experience: transporting in the purest way.’ – Roger Ebert ★★★★
