Getting Started with Drawing
Sunday 25 May - Sunday 13 July 2025
Join us in Getting Started with Drawing, a relaxed and beginner-friendly drawing workshop, where you’ll explore sketching with pencil and fine-line pens.
Whether you are completely new to drawing or looking to build confidence in your skills, this workshop will help you master different drawing techniques and materials.
Each session will focus on a new theme – such as portraits, architecture, or still life – giving you the chance to develop a broad range of drawing skills.
With step-by-step guidance from an experienced tutor, you’ll learn how to create depth with shading, add detail with fine-line pens, and experiment with different mark-making techniques.
In this informal and friendly three-hour session, you’ll have plenty of time to develop your skills at your own pace while enjoying a complimentary tea or coffee.
By the end of your Getting Started with Drawing session, you’ll take home a finished piece, new skills to build on and plenty of inspiration to continue your creative journey.
This workshop is suitable for ages 16+.
