We’re making changes to our cinema prices with new ways to save for our audiences.

From Fri 7 Nov, we’re introducing Peak and Off-Peak ticket pricing for our standard films, and new ways to save for families, groups, and younger audiences, while helping us continue to show the best films for everyone.
We hope these changes give you more flexibility, better options for families and students, and ways to save when you bring friends along. They will also help us continue to bring a wide range of the best films to everyone in our community.
Choose the time that works for you
Whether you prefer a quiet weekday screening or a lively weekend showing, our new Peak and Off-Peak cinema pricing gives you more choice and flexibility.
Enjoy the same great films at times and prices that suit your schedule and budget, all while helping us keep cinema in Colchester open and accessible for everyone.
We now offer:
- Off-Peak (Tue–Fri films starting before 5pm): Quieter screenings at lower prices
- Peak (Weekends + weekdays from 5pm): Our most popular times
Ticket Prices
With Firstsite Cinema, we’re committed to making film accessible for all. Attending Peak screenings helps us support Off-Peak pricing and has allowed us to reduce 14 & Under and Student prices, making cinema more accessible for families, younger audiences, and those studying.
Here’s how our new Peak and Off-Peak ticket prices* will work:
- Off-Peak: Standard £9 | Concessions £8 | 14 & Under £4 | 15 to 17 yr olds £4 | Student £4
- Peak: Standard £11.50 | Concessions £10.50 | 14 & Under £5.50 | 15 to 17 yr olds £5.50 | Student £5.50
*Prices stated include £1 ticket fee.

Along with our new pricing, we’re delighted to bring two new ways to save when you attend with family or friends.
- Family Offer: Book a Standard + 14 & Under ticket together and save!
- Off-Peak: £11 (includes ticket fee)
- Peak: £13 (includes ticket fee)
- Group Save: Book 3 or more tickets to a Peak screening and get 10% off!
Memberships stay the same
These pricing changes do not affect our member benefits. Members can still see all standard films for free, both Peak and Off-Peak.
