How to access our shop, Foyer cafe and the front desk
You can still use the main entrance to visit our foyer, book cinema and event tickets or visit our shop and Foyer Café – as shown below.
How to access cinema, studios, galleries and toilets
Please use the temporary entrance via the Berryfield Lawn to visit our cinema, studios, galleries, toilets and access Holiday Fun activities. If you booked your cinema tickets in advance, please feel free to use this entrance to head straight into the cinema.
If arriving via Lewis Gardens, walk past the building and turn to the left of the building, through the gates to the Berryfield Lawn.
If arriving via the walkway of Queen Street, by the Curzon Cinema, please walk to the right of the building and through the gates to the Berryfield Lawn.
Follow the building round to the entrance at the back.
There is a ramp to provide step-free access.
The temporary entrance will bring you to the centre of Firstsite – just by our studios.

As the project advances, different sections of the walkway will be affected, altering access to the cinema. We will update this page with the latest information as the project progresses.

This update will drastically reduce our carbon footprint and electricity costs, make our building more visually accessible, and enable us to celebrate our building’s unique architectural features.
