Get ready to celebrate the festive season with our Air Dry Clay Decorations, fun and hands-on creative workshop with local clay artist Lizzie Croucher.

In this relaxed and creative workshop, you’ll learn simple methods to shape, smooth, and decorate your clay designs!

Each child will be able to work on several designs from stars and trees to completely unique creations inspired by your imagination.

Once finished, you can take your decorations home ready to dry and paint, making beautiful keepsakes to treasure or gift this holiday season.

About your tutor

Croucherli is the work of ceramic artist Lizzie Croucher (she/her). Lizzie produces hand thrown pottery, specifically one-off and small batch items, with their own little personalities. Her ceramics are functional, but also designed to bring smiles to faces.

Lizzie lives in Colchester with her partner & two dogs, having been previously based in Kent, London & Suffolk. Lizzie also leads pottery workshops in & around Colchester, as well as private potters’ wheel lessons from her home studio. 

All materials will be provided. Suitable for children 3+. Tickets must be purchased for each child.

Children must be accompanied by a parent/guardian, but tickets are not required for the accompanying adults.

Adults and guardians who would like to make their own mini-clay apple are also welcome to purchase a ticket and join in the activities!
