The Arts Society at Firstsite (TASAF) is an organisation about connecting people who have a passion for art.
TASAF is part of The Arts Society, a global network of local societies, founded in 1968 and which now has approximately 92,000 members spread across Europe, Australia and New Zealand. TASAF membership spans 10 months between September and June, however, we welcome new members throughout the year. Please note, however, that new members will be required to pay the full membership fee regardless of when they join.

Join The Arts Society at Firstsite!
Explore the vibrant world of the arts with exclusive lectures and member events!
The TASAF membership package, which spans ten months, includes ten lectures per year with accredited lecturers based around the UK sharing their specialist knowledge about the arts – all just for £50.
Lectures take place throughout the year from September to June on the third Tuesday of each month at 2:30pm.
The Arts Society at Firstsite welcomes new members throughout the year. Please note, however, that new members will be required to pay the full membership fee regardless of when they join.

To join The Arts Society at Firstsite, please follow the steps below carefully so we can properly locate and assign your payment:
- Make a payment
To join, please make a bank transfer to Firstsite bank account using the following details:
- Account Name: Firstsite Ltd
- Sort Code: 30-92-16
- Account Number: 49301860
- Reference: TASAF – (Initial of Your First Name & Surname)
- Amount: £50
Important: Ensure you include the payment reference exactly as shown (TASAF – Your First Name & Surname), e.g. TASAF – (FRANK SMITH), so we can correctly assign your payment to you and confirm you as a member.
- Email confirmation
After making the payment, please send an email to Rachel Howlett at [email protected] with the following details:
- Confirmation of your payment
- Your First Name and Surname
- Your email address and telephone number
- Your address
This will help us locate your payment in our records and set up an account for you on our booking system. It’s important that we have your most current contact details so that we can stay in touch and keep you informed about any updates or changes.

This membership is separate from the Firstsite Mosaic Membership. It is possible to hold both memberships and enjoy the benefits of each membership.

- Visit the Event Webpage: Go to the event page and scroll down to find the “Book Now” button. Click it to proceed.
- Select Your Tickets: Choose your seats from the seating plan and click “Continue”.
- The tickets will initially be labelled as “Standard £8.” Don’t worry, once you log in your ticket will be discounted to free. If you wish to book extra tickets for guests, note that these will be charged at £8 each. Click Continue again.
- Click Checkout on the next screen.
- On the next screen log in using the email you provided when joining TASAF. Once logged in, your ticket price should change to Free. If it doesn’t, please contact us on [email protected] or call 02106 713700.
- Complete the Checkout process. No payment will be required unless you’ve booked additional tickets for guests.
How to book via phone/in person:
- Call 01206 713700 or pop by our front desk in our Foyer.
- Simply give your name and email address when booking and mention you are part of TASAF and our team will ensure your member ticket is free. Guest tickets are the standard £8.
