ABOUT THE ARTIST: Nicola Burton

I create unique contemporary artwork with the eggshells laid by my free-ranging garden chickens. I work from my home studios in Coggeshall, Essex.

I love working with nature and bringing it inside to light up our indoor lives. My art process starts with raising healthy and much-loved chickens with my family.

I find the beauty in discarded eggshells to create gallery wall art for contemporary art collectors, chicken lovers, interior designers, and individuals with excellent taste in colourful decor!

Each eggshell is collected from the coop, prepared by hand, and decorated using a variety of archival quality mediums and techniques. No two eggshells are the same, celebrating the beauty in our differences and imperfections. Each eggshell is sealed with a premium gloss varnish to ensure that colour pop longevity.

Artwork is mounted on premium archival paper and presented in high quality frames with a professional glass aperture front.
