Our café at the back of the building is temporarily closed, while we install new LED lighting throughout our building as part of the Firstsite Shining Project. It will reopen soon with a brand new name – The Berryfield Café and will offer an exciting fresh menu!
Welcome to Berryfield Café, your cosy corner for fresh, homemade food nestled at the back of our amazing building in the heart of historic Colchester.
Whether you’re stopping by for a nourishing meal, a tasty sandwich, a quick snack, or one of our delicious cakes, you’ll find flavours that are as comforting as they are delicious.
And our WiFi is free! Perfect for casual meetings or getting some work done over coffee!

Our Berryfield Café features a menu of energising and healthy brunch bites, sandwiches, snacks, light meals and treats including delicious vegan options.

Between 10am-5pm, we serve a delightful array of refreshing soft drinks and a wide selection of alcoholic beverages. Enjoy popular local beers and ciders, exquisite wines, and bubbly prosecco.
