Join us for a special evening event to celebrate the opening of ‘It Should Not Be Forgotten’, Elsa James’s first major solo exhibition at Firstsite!

 

Be among the first to experience a bold and unflinching exploration of Britain’s colonial past and its lasting impact on Black life today.

Discover a provocative mix of new work from renowned British African-Caribbean interdisciplinary artist Elsa James in her new exhibition, featuring photography, neon, screen print and sound.
