Art has the power to bring people together. Through creativity, we find understanding, hope, and belonging, no matter who we are or where we come from.
Your support will help more people experience the joy of creativity this Christmas and beyond. Together, we can build a kinder, more connected community through art.

Your support helps us run programmes that bring people together through creativity, including:
- Holiday Fun workshops for children and families
- Community art sessions for people who feel isolated
- The Young Art Kommunity (YAK) supporting emerging young artists

Hand in Hand – Be Part of Something Bigger
When you donate online, you’ll receive our special Hand in Hand template to colour or decorate.
Each hand will join with others to form a collective artwork displayed at Firstsite, symbolising how every contribution, no matter how small, helps build something extraordinary. We’ll also share this with you in January once the Christmas Appeal has ended.
Whether you choose to create your own hand or simply donate, you’ll be part of a movement that celebrates creativity, compassion and community spirit.
There are two ways you could be part of something bigger and give to Firstsite this festive season:
Make a One-Off Donation
Your one-time gift will bring creativity and connection to more people this Christmas:
- £3 could buy materials for one child to take part in a creative workshop.
- £10 could support art sessions for people who feel isolated or lonely.
- £50 could help schools and families join in community art projects.
Become a Regular Giver
By setting up a monthly donation, you’ll help creativity thrive all year round. Regular support ensures Firstsite can continue offering free and inclusive creative experiences for everyone.
Choose a giving level that suits you:
- £5 per month could help creativity thrive in local communities.
- £10 per month could support ongoing workshops and outreach projects.
- £20 per month could provide lasting opportunities for families and young people to experience art together.

You’ll receive:
- A link to download your Hand in Hand template.
- Updates on how your gift is making a difference.
- A photo of the final collective artwork once it’s complete, showing how we’ve all come together through creativity.
