Join us for a special evening event to celebrate the opening of ‘In-between Us’, David Lock’s first solo exhibition in a public gallery!

Be the first to experience this thought-provoking exhibition, showcasing over 18 existing and new works, including oil paintings, watercolours and large-scale vinyl collage, examining identity and masculinities.

Explore how ideas of masculinities have changed across centuries, reflect on the ever-changing concept of being a man, discover previously unknown LGBTQ+ histories specific to Essex and engage in conversations around the fluid nature of masculinities.

Our fully licensed bar with outdoor terrace area will be open throughout the evening, as will our current exhibitions, shop and cinema.

No booking required. Everyone welcome.
