Paper Jam Zine Workshop

Sunday 11 January - Sunday 08 March 2026

Paper Jam Zine Workshop introduces the expressive world of DIY zine making using collage, illustration, writing and mixed media to create unique paper publications.

Drawing on the energy of grassroots art and independent print culture, the session focuses on using recycled and found materials to explore layout, sequence and visual storytelling while developing confidence in shaping personal ideas on the page.

With fun guided prompts and plenty of free-play time, you’ll have room to experiment and create something totally your own.

Each session features a new theme, plus a jam themed treat to fuel the chaos!

Basic materials provided. Food and drink is also available for purchase throughout the session from our cafes. This workshop is suitable for ages 17+.

What is Zine making?

Zine making is a creative and accessible form of self-publishing that uses collage, drawing, text and mixed media to produce small, handmade booklets.

Traditionally rooted in DIY and independent culture, zines allow makers to explore ideas, storytelling and visual expression with complete freedom. They are often created using recycled materials and simple tools, making the process playful, experimental and community led.
