Based on a true story, two down-on-their-luck musicians form a joyous Neil Diamond tribute band in Song Sung Blue!

Song Sung Blue is a music-driven drama inspired by the true story of Mike and Claire Sardina, a working-class couple from Wisconsin who find unexpected connection and purpose through performance.

In the 1990s, the pair form a Neil Diamond tribute act, navigating the unpredictable world of regional showbusiness while balancing family life, past relationships and personal struggles.

As their modest success grows, so do the pressures of life on the fringes of the music industry.

Blending humour with emotional weight, the film explores resilience, partnership and the desire to be seen, capturing the highs and lows of chasing creative fulfilment far from the spotlight.

‘Here is a startlingly strange, undeniably entertaining true-life story from the heartland of American showbusiness’ The Guardian ★★★★☆
