An office drone has had enough of his mundane life.
But after a series of sudden events he finds himself living from his car, drinking from whatever water source he can find and foraging for food.
When he returns to his beach side hometown in Australia, he is humiliated in front of his teenage son by a local group of surfers who claim ownership over the secluded beach of his childhood.
But he doesn’t take lightly and set out to ride the perfect wave, no matter what.
